Graaff-Reinet Information & Attractions

Graaff - Reinet is recognised as the fourth oldest towns in South Africa and has over 220 heritage sites which is more than any other town in the country. The town is so rich in history that some of the attractions are the  four  separate museum which tell  this history, this history include that the town is named after a Dutch governors. Tourists are not only attracted by the history but there are other great attractions in the town  such as the art museum, the Camdeboo National Park, Valley of Desolation,  the theatre and national monuments to mention a few. The activities in the town leave tourists wanting more these include guided tours, golf and festivals.
