Bavaainskloof Information & Attractions

The area of Baviaaskloof is situated 120 km west of Port Elizabeth and the name is a Dutch name for baboons who roam the area. The area includes Karoo towns of Willowmore and Styterville as well as a number of small stock farms, the area offers beautiful scenery. These scenery include waterfalls, indigenous forests, sheer cliffs and crystal mountain stream,  and also home to a diversity of plants and species. The best time to visit this land of raw wilderness is in spring where there are no heavy summer rains or cold autumn weather.
