Cafe Brazilia
The eclectic décor with its combination of natural crete-stone walls, large vibrant abstract artworks, and assortments of attractive wrought iron chandeliers, has a strong contemporary Mediterranean feel. From lunch time right through until late the restaurant is busy, the attractive bar area is popular with those who enjoy their early evening drink. The restaurant is vibey and interesting and unlike other establishments in the area it is busy every night of the week.
The extensive menu offers an excellent variety of dishes from open sandwiches, tramezzinis, and salads, which are popular lunch-time fare, through to the impressive Seafood Platter and peppered Ostrich Fillet. Portuguese inspired dishes include the famous Espetada, Trinchado and Brazilian Steak (complete with fried egg). Worth mentioning are the range of salads, which are all substantial and beautifully presented, the spicy grilled Chicken Salad is highly recommended. For dessert choose from a selection of cakes and tarts, it includes Cafe Brazilia's famous baked Cheesecake.
