Enjoy peace and tranquility at Sea Otters Lodge whilst listening to the breaking waves! All our bedrooms are sea-facing with sea views and a direct access to the beach. Sea Otters Lodge offers luxurious and modern accommodation with absolute attention to detail.
One can enjoy reading a book in one of the two lounges or enjoy a stroll on the beach. Sundowner drinks can be enjoyed on the deck while watching dolphins swimming in the breakers and whales playing with their calves. If you are lucky enough you may even see the resident Cape Clawless Otters who enjoy swimming in the sea and looking for food in front of the lodge.
The sounds of birds can be heard while the nests of the finches and weavers are being built and while the bee-catcher chases after its prey. Sea Otters Lodge is well equipped to host business travellers as well as gives relaxed feelings for leisure travellers to enjoy their stays.
Facilities & Services
Sea Otters Lodge offer two lounges where one can enjoy reading or just to relax and listen to the sea. They are fully licensed and offer extra dinners on request from Monday to Thursday evenings. There is an access control on safe parking for your vehicle. There are facilities for functions like weddings, meetings, birthdays and conferences.

Policies and Other Information
Prior arrangement must be made for a late departure and agreed upon with the management.
Late departures: Rooms have to be vacated when requested for housekeeping to clean the room.
They reserve the right to charge a late departure fee of R 150.00 per hour or part thereof for departures after 10:30 a.m. unless prior arrangement has been made and agreed upon.
Children policy:
- Children less than 3 years of age sharing with adults: free.
- Children staying in their own room pay full rate applicable to the room.
- Maximum of 1 child less than 12 sharing with 2 adults are allowed in a room at 50 % of sharing adult rate.

Although utmost care has been taken to insure the safety and well-being of guests and their property, Chase Street Properties (Pty) Ltd, Sea Otters Lodge CC, the management and staff shall not be held responsible or partly responsible for any injury, theft, loss, death or damage to any person or their property while visiting or residing on the property.
A booking constitutes a binding contract. All guests confirming a booking are advised to take out insurance to cover the full cost of their accommodation in the event of a cancellation. They will seek compensation for any cancelled accommodation, including premature curtailment
Only signed and written cancellations will be accepted.
Should you cancel the booking or you do not arrive or you do not complete your stay, the following cancellation policy will be instituted.
Any cancellation of a confirmed booking done by means of an issued accommodation voucher - guest will be liable for all optional extras and accommodation booked
Should confirmed / secured bookings are canceled 29 days or longer before the initial arrival date, guests shall be liable for the payment of 25 % of the stay booked.
Should confirmed / secured bookings are canceled 16 - 28 days before the initial arrival date, guests shall be liable for the payment of 50 % of the stay booked.
Should confirmed / secured bookings are canceled 8 - 15 days before the initial arrival date, guests shall be liable for a payment of 75 % of the stay booked.
Should confirmed / secured bookings are canceled 0 - 7 days before the initial arrival date, guests shall be liable for a payment of 100 % of the stay booked. This includes a no-show and not completing stay of reservation.
In the event of a premature departure, guests will be liable for the full stay of the original bookings made.
Refunds (if any) will be done within 15 (fifteen) working days, after the initial date of cancellation or overpayment and only after payment has been cleared by their bankers and into the same account / credit card the payment was received from and guests will be liable for all bank charges and other costs incurred in respect of the booking & refund.
