Port Elizabeth Airport to Samara
• Exit from the Port Elizabeth Airport and at the traffic circle turn right. Following the signs to Grahamstown N2.
• Travel on this road for 1.5km until you reach an intersection with traffic lights, where you will turn left.
• 500 meters further on you will get to another turning circle where you will turn right onto Michelle Street. About 500 meters down you will get to a set of traffic lights, at the traffic lights turn right into Walmer Boulevard.
• Continue along this road keeping left and turn left at traffic lights following signs to N2 Grahamstown. Continue along the freeway for approximately 6 kms and then take the off-ramp numbered 751A marked Cape Town N2. Follow the N2 and take the off-ramp numbered 748 marked Uitenhage R75.
• At the top of the off-ramp you must turn right at the second set of traffic lights. This will take you onto the R75 traveling towards Uitenhage / Graaff Reinet. Follow signs toward Graaff-Reinet by-passing Uitenhage.
• Continue along the R75 towards Graaff-Reinet for 258 km.
• Approximately 23 km before Graaff-Reinet you will encounter a turn off to the right marked R63 Pearston / Somerset East. This is a tar road (do not confuse with the gravel road also marked Pearston).
• Follow the road through the reserve - 3km to the first electric gate (please call us from here to let us know you are on the property), 12.5km to the second, double electric gate and 2.2km to the MANOR HOUSE Reception turn-off and 5.4km to KAROO LODGE Reception turnoff.
This is about a 30 minute drive.
From Port Elizabeth city centre:
• Either get on to the N2, and take the R75 Uitenhage off ramp.
OR
• Get on to the Uitenhage Rd, R75, which runs through the CBD.
• Once on the R75, follow the directions as above.
