RiverBend Lodge is a mere 45 minutes from Port Elizabeth and offers guests an incredible African Safari experience with easy access. Guests can enjoy a personalized game drive with their own ranger at the wheel interpreting this extremely diverse environment. Drives can go deep into the mountains and guests will discover varying vegetation from thick forested valleys, open savannah plains to hillsides rich in Fynbos.

Guests have the option to enjoy a choice of accommodation at Riverbend Lodge, Luxury suites, Executive suites or the Honeymoon suite, depending on the occasion. All the suites are luxuriously decorated and are all en-suite. The region is well known for its warm hospitality and Riverbend portrays this at its best. Riverbend will offer guests an unforgettable experience as they teach guests all about the history of this revitalized wilderness. Long Hope Villa

Riverbend also offers the exclusive-use Long Hope Villa for families of four or more, who can enjoy total privacy and a true home-away-from-home experience. Three en-suite rooms accommodate a maximum of six guests and the Villa comes complete with a private chef and personal guide. The beautiful farmhouse kitchen encourages interaction between the guests and the chef. If guests would like to enjoy a traditional South African Braai the outdoor area at the Villa offers this opportunity, alternatively one can dine al fresco, under the stars. The path leads through the indigenous garden to the swimming pool, which is a welcome retreat from a hot summer's day. Located a short stroll away from the Villa, the sunset deck offers a wonderful break for a lazy afternoon relaxing on the day-beds or in the hammocks. Sipping cocktails, lying back and relaxing as you watch another magnificent sunset on a splendid African day.

RiverBend Lodge offers discerning travelers 5-star facilities and services. All the facilities are well maintained and looked after by the well trained and professional staff at RiverBend. Guests are looked after the moment they arrive at Riverbend and every need is seen to ensure that their stay is one to be remembered.

Policy on children staying with parents:
All Ages Are Welcome At Both Properties - Family Luxury Suites with inter-leading doors are available at RiverBend Lodge on request

Children's rates applicable to children under the age of 12 years. Children less than 3 years, sharing with parents stay at no extra charge (max 1 child). Babysitters, cots, high chairs, playroom, sandpit, fenced swimming pool, kid's menus & DVD's are also available. Children of all ages are welcome on game drives and where possible families will be allocated a private vehicle.

Cancellation Policy:

• 100% if cancelled less than 7 days prior to arrival
• 75% if cancelled 13 - 7 days prior to arrival
• 50% if cancelled 14 - 20 days prior to arrival
• 25% if cancelled 21 - 30 days prior to arrival
