Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve lies in a protected area at the foot of the Sneeuberg Mountain range, which is the second highest range in South Africa after the Drakensburg. The reserve consists of about 14,000 hectares and is home to a large number of animals. The wildlife viewing on the reserve is exceptional; it is a unique experience due to the incredible diversity on the reserve, from the mountain top plateaus to the riverine and bush thickets. There are breathtaking views of the mountains and plains.
The accommodation in the Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve consists of typical Cape Dutch homes which have been meticulously restored. They now offer excellent and well-appointed rooms with exceptional open-plan living areas. The rooms and living areas have been furnished and decorated, making guests feel at home at all times. There are a total of three manors available that offer a total of 12 suites.

A very popular option on Mount Camdeboo is to partake in the Project Walk, which is a 2-hour guided walk on the reserve with a ranger to the various breeding projects that the reserve is involved in. These include the sable, buffalo, Cape Mountain zebra and wild cat projects.

Children policy:
Children 3 and under stay free. Children from 4 - 12 are charged 50% of the full rate. Children over 12 are charged the full rate.

Rates do no include: telephone and fax, laundry services, gratuities, curio shop purchases, and transfers to and from Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve.
