Lalibela Game Reserve

Lalibela Private Game Reserve offers luxury accommodation in three lodges situated in the reserve, Lataba Lodge, Mark's Camp and Tree Tops. All three are superbly finished with African decoration and will meet the expectations of any discerning traveler.

All three lodges are built in the same standard and have the own unique appeal to them. Lalibela is able to accommodate 44 guests in all three lodges with Lataba consisting of 8 suites, Marks Camp consisting of double suites, 3 family rooms and a family suite, and Tree tops consisting of 5 luxury suites.

Great views can be enjoyed from each unit as there is a viewing deck extending out of each room for guests. All the lodges boast a large lounge, viewing deck and a sunny swimming pool.

"The Lodge on the Hillside" consists of 8 chalets which can accommodate 16 guests. Each chalet consists of an en-suite bathroom, a ceiling fan, air-conditioning and has an observation deck over-looking a flood lit watering hole.

At Mark's Camp, there are 4 twin bedded chalets, 3 family chalets and a family suite with 2 en-suite bathrooms. Each chalet consists of an en-suite bathroom, a ceiling fan and has an observation deck over-looking a watering hole. Mark's Camp is a child-friendly camp and a special children's program is offered.

Tree Tops differs from the other lodges in that it offers a unique luxury tented experience with canvas walls and thatch roofs. These tented suites are built on platforms at the tops of trees overlooking the magnificent valley bushveld. [read more] These suites give guests a feeling of being right in the bush with huge window areas and the canvas walls letting in all the sounds of the Eastern Cape bush. The suites are all joined by a raised walkway which leads to the open-air dinning deck with a view over the waterhole.
