Kwandwe Private Game Reserve is located in the beautiful and historically rich Eastern Cape, surrounded by 22 000 hectares between the R67 and R344 between Grahamstown, Fort Beaufort and Alicedale.
There are 54,362 acres of exclusive, malaria-free wilderness, featuring 30 km of privately owned river frontage of the Great Fish River. Kwandwe means ‘Place of the Blue Crane' in Xhosa, and is home to a population of these majestic endangered birds.

Getting there
You go to Grahamstown and turn onto the R67 towards Fort Beaufort. You go for approximately 20 Km and there will be a sign board indicating to turn left to Kwandwe Private Reserve.
A charted flight can also be arranged.
