Eastern Cape Fly in Luxury Safari
The fly-in safari takes off from Port Elizabeth airport. Over the course of 5 days, guests will have the opportunity to visit 2 game parks and see fantastic views of this incredible expanse of land. The first visit is to the Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve where guests enjoy the tranquility of the Karoo and enjoy views over the famous Plains of the Camdeboo, wildlife sightings and even a possible tracking experience on foot. Then guests fly to Shamwari Private Game Reserve and enjoy a Safari experience like no other before returning to Port Elizabeth.

DAY 1: DEPART PORT ELIZABETH – FLY TO MOUNT CAMDEBOO PRIVATE GAME RESERVE (KAROO)
Guests check in at Port Elizabeth Airport to depart on their air shuttle to Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve. The very scenic flight takes you into the Karoo, where guests will land in the bush and be met by their wildlife guide at the airstrip. A short drive to the lodge is enjoyed through the reserve. Guests check in and enjoy a light snack before the afternoon wildlife safari departs to show this fantastic area. A sunset is enjoyed with some local drinks and snacks before the safari returns to the lodge at night for a delicious homecooked meal by the local cooks.

DAY 2: MOUNT CAMDEBOO PRIVATE GAME RESERVE (KAROO)
Guests enjoy an early wake up with coffee, tea and biscuits before departing on the early morning safari. Guests explore the reserve with their guide enjoying the wildlife and fantastic scenery. Breakfast is enjoyed, and then guests can enjoy a short walk around the reserve, having a look at all the projects the reserve is actively involved in. Guests return to the lodge for some relaxation time before lunch. After lunch guests will depart on the afternoon safari into the reserve again exploring a different part of the reserve. Guests enjoy a sunset on a mountain top before returning to the lodge for an outdoor dinner (Braai/Barbaque).

DAY 3: MOUNT CAMDEBOO – FLY TO SHAMWARI PRIVATE GAME RESERVE
Guests enjoy a final morning wildlife safari before breakfast. After guests have enjoyed their breakfast they are shuttled to the airstrip for their short flight to Shamwari Private Game Reserve. After enjoying a flight over the Zuurberg Mountains and the Addo region, the guests land in Shamwari Private Game Reserve where their guide meets them at the airstrip. Guests are assisted to the open wildlife vehicle and enjoy a short drive through the reserve on their way to their lodge, where they check in to enjoy a light lunch before their afternoon safari. After a three-hour safari, guests return to the lodge to enjoy an excellent dinner prepared by the locally trained staff at Shamwari.

DAY 4: SHAMWARI PRIVATE GAME RESERVE
An early safari is enjoyed on Shamwari before guests return to the lodge for a late breakfast. Guests have an option to enjoy a bush walk with their guide or enjoy the lodge facilities and just relax under the African sky. Lunch is served before the late afternoon safari, where guests are out in the bush till after dark looking for all the nocturnal species in the reserve. On returning to the lodge, guests enjoy dinner and drinks and pondering the new memories made on this safari.

DAY 5: SHAWARI PRIVATE GAME RESERVE – FLY TO PORT ELIZABETH
Guests enjoy their final wildlife safari on Shamwari before breakfast. Returning to the lodge guests enjoy breakfast and then prepare to check out and enjoy their shuttle to the air strip, where they will meet their plane for their short flight to Port Elizabeth Airport. Guests depart the plane at PE Airport and continue on their holiday or on an extended Garden Route tour to Cape Town.

Tour Accommodation
The accommodation on this tour is in renovated Cape Dutch houses. Each room is en-suite and offers guests all amenities. The other accommodation is in luxury tented rooms and offer excellent facilities and services.
Meals
All meals are prepared by qualified/trained chefs/cooks. Please advise us of any special dietary requirements in advance to ensure that your meals are prepared correctly.
Transport.
Guests are transported by air for the duration of this tour in a 6-seater aircraft.
What Do You Need?
An adventurous spirit and a love for nature and wildlife. It would be a good idea to bring along a rain jacket, camera, binoculars, any guide books, sunscreen, hat, warm jacket and personal toiletries.
Malaria
This tour takes place in a malaria-free area of South Africa. We do advised to bring insect repellant during our summer months.

Cancellation Policy
If the reservation is cancelled by the client, cancellation fees will be due and payable according to the following:
- 30 to 45 days prior to planned departure date, a refund of the amount paid in excess of the non-refundable deposit.
- 21 to 30 days prior to the planned tour departure date, a refund of the amount paid in excess of the non-refundable deposit plus 25%
- 20 days or less to the planned tour departure date, no refund.
If the reservation is cancelled by the operator, who reserves the right to do so in its discretion, then the full amount paid shall be refunded to the client
