Addo National Park Full Day Tour

Duration: 9 hour(s) - Location: Port Elizabeth, Addo National Park, Eastern Cape

The tour departs early in the morning from guests' place of accommodation; this affords the guests a better chance to spot lions and other animals. After the guests are transfered to the Addo Elephant National Park, they check in at the reception and enjoy a comfort stop before entering the reserve. This is followed by a 3-hour drive through the reserve, with the chance to spot elephants, lions, black rhino, buffalo, zebra, eland, kudu and warthog, among many others. The tour returns to camp to rest, enjoy refreshments and a picnic lunch under the shade of the trees overlooking the waterhole. There is the opportunity to visit an underground hide. The group then sets off into the park in search of more wildlife, familiarizing themselves with the thick vegetation and learning of the medicinal uses of the plants. The group prepares to depart in the late afternoon to return to Port Elizabeth.
