Cancellation policy
If the reservation is cancelled by the client, cancellation fees will be due and payable according to the following:
- 30 to 45 days prior to planned departure date, a refund of the amount paid in excess of the non-refundable deposit.
- 21 to 30 days prior to the planned tour departure date, a refund of the amount paid in excess of the non-refundable deposit plus 25%
- 20 days or less to the planned tour departure date, no refund.
If the reservation is cancelled by the operator, who reserves the right to do so in its discretion, then the full amount paid, shall be refunded to the client
6 Day Wild Coast Tour
The Wild Coast tour offers guests the experience of visiting a rural part of South Africa while enjoying comfortable and clean accommodation with great food. The tour can be enjoyed in two directions, departing from Durban or departing from Port Elizabeth or East London.
Guests have the opportunity to enjoy a number of activities like quad biking, hiking, canoeing and even visiting a Sangoma. Guests can also enjoy visiting the famous Hole in the Wall just south of Coffee Bay. A visit to the Nelson Mandela Museum complex in Quno and Mthatha is included. Guests also enjoy a 2-night stay at the very relaxed Mboyti River Lodge deep in Pondo Land on the Wild Coast.
DAY 1: DEPART PORT ELIZABETH – MORGAN’S BAY HOTEL
Depart Port Elizabeth and travel to Addo National Park for a short drive through this great National Park. The tour departs the Addo and travels to Morgan’s Bay via East London. En route, the tour will stop at a cultural village, where guests will learn about the fascinating Xhosa traditions and culture. The tour will then continue to Morgan’s Bay where visitors will check in at the hotel. (On a guided tour, guests will enjoy a trip up to the breathtaking “Kranse” for sundowners). A delicious dinner will be served in the hotel restaurant.

DAY 2: DEPART MORGANS BAY HOTEL – COFFEE BAY
Guests will have breakfast overlooking the fantastic oceanic view. There will be optional morning activities on offer such as a short quad bike ride along the rugged wild coast or alternatively, a drive to the Double Mouth Nature Reserve. On returning to the hotel, refreshments and eats will be had before departing for Coffee Bay. The tour will stop at Qunu in the Transkei, the little town where the famous Nelson Mandela grew up. Guests will also visit the Nelson Mandela satellite museum before continuing down to scenic Coffee Bay for two (2) nights. Guests stay at White Clay Bed & Breakfast which is nestled in a spectacular bay along the Wild Coast, where dolphins and whales are commonly seen.

DAY 3: COFFEE BAY – HOLE IN THE WALL – COFFEE BAY
Clients will have breakfast prior to going on a guided hike to the natural wonder, the Hole in the Wall. After arriving at the view point, guests will be presented with a packed lunch and refreshments. They will then be given the opportunity to explore this incredible natural phenomenon and to swim in the warm Indian Ocean before hiking back to the accommodation. If guests would prefer, an air-conditioned drive back to the accommodation can be arranged.

DAY 4: DEPART COFFEE BAY – MBOYTI RIVER LODGE
After enjoying a wonderful ocean view breakfast, the tour will continue to Mboyti River Lodge in Pondoland. Guests will have their packed lunch at the top of a cliff, with the panoramic view of Port St John’s and the Indian Ocean. The tour group will then pass through Port St John’s to Mboyti River Lodge. Visitors will check in and have the rest of the day to enjoy the surrounding area. A scrumptious dinner will be served in the main restaurant.

DAY 5: Mboyti River Lodge
After breakfast, guests will depart on a guided tour of the nearby waterfalls. On return, guests will relax for a short while before going for an interesting walk through the village with a stop at the local Sangoma (Herbalist) to learn more about local Xhosa medicine. Clients will then return to the lodge for dinner.

DAY 6: MBOYTI RIVER LODGE - DURBAN
Clients will have a buffet breakfast before departing for Durban. The tour will stop en route for lunch at the amazing Oribi Gorge. Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy optional adventure activities such as a gorge swing, abseiling or zip line. The tour will arrive in Durban during the afternoon.
