This tour highlights the diversity the Eastern Cape has by visiting the Addo National Park, Mountain Zebra National Park and the Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve. Guests enjoy traditionally cooked meals by the guide and then are spoilt on the last night with delicious African cuisine prepared by qualified chefs at Mount Camdeboo.

Drives are conducted through the Addo National Park and Mountain Zebra National Par and then guests are taken on open vehicles in the Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve. The scenery is a definite attraction at Mount Camdeboo with the mountain views over the Plains of the Camdeboo as well as the incredible Karoo sunsets. Guests who would like to experience a unique part of South Africa are urged to partake in this tour.

Itinerary

Day 1:

Guests are collected at their previous nights' accommodation to depart on the tour
Travel to the Addo Elephant National Park and enjoy a morning drive through the park stopping at a view point for a light lunch and drinks
Enjoy the afternoon drive through the park
Check into your chalets and settle in
Evening night drive is booked for guests before dinner at restaurant
Enjoy dinner at the restaurant after the night drive (Dinner is at guests own expense)

Day 2:

Enjoy an early morning coffee/tea with biscuits before guests depart on the short drive through the park
Depart the Addo National Park after breakfast (own expense) and travel to the Mountain Zebra National Park
Enjoy a short drive to the camp site where you check into your chalet and then enjoy an afternoon walk after lunch
A fun evening around the fire-watching to know how traditional South African food is prepared
Enjoy dinner

Day 3:

The guests wake up for tea/coffee and biscuits before departing into the park for a final morning drive and then enjoying a fried breakfast with cereals and yogurt
The group departs the Mountain Zebra National Park and travels to the Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve where they will spend the night
Guests check in and enjoy lunch before departing on the late afternoon guided Game Drive and evening drive
Sundowners are enjoyed on top of the mountain enjoying the fantastic views
Guests have a chance to freshen up before dinner

Day 4:

Guests enjoy morning tea/coffee before departing on the early morning game drive into the reserve
Guests enjoy a coffee stop with snacks before returning to the lodge for a late breakfast
The tour departs the Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve and travel back to Port Elizabeth
Guests are dropped off at their requested destination in Port Elizabeth

Cancellation policy

General:

The conditions set out below apply to each and every safari/tour. Reference or mention of the 'operator' means Lyon Tours & Safaris cc (No: 2008/059879/23). The transport, meals, entrance fees, accommodation or other facilities or services which are to be supplied in respect of any tour or safari are those specifically stated on the website, in the tour brochure or tour/safari itinerary.

Costs:

Lyon Tours & Safaris cc quotations are based on anticipated costs and are subject to amendment should these anticipated costs increase due to circumstances outside the control of the operator.

Deposit/Payments/Booking:

A 25 % non-refundable deposit is required upon booking a safari or tour and the balance is payable no later than 30 days prior to the departure of the safari and/or tour. In the event of a booking less than 30 days prior to the start of the tour/safari, payment in full is to be made upon booking the safari or tour. Any booking without the aforesaid payment shall be unenforceable and unconfirmed.

Cancellation:

If the reservation is cancelled by the client, cancellation fees will be due and payable according to the following:

30 to 45 days prior to planned departure date, a refund of the amount will be paid in excess of the non-refundable deposit.
21 to 30 days prior to the planned tour departure date, a refund of the amount will paid in excess of the non-refundable deposit plus 25%
20 days or less to the planned tour departure date, no refund.
If the reservation is cancelled by the operator, who reserves the right to do so in its discretion, then the full amount paid, shall be refunded to the client.

Refunds:

Once the tour/safari has commenced, refunds will not be made for missed tours, meals or other special activities.
