4 Day Addo National Park & Private Game Reserve Tour


Duration: 4 days - Location: Eastern Cape

The tour can depart from either East London or Port Elizabeth and end at either city. This tour offers guests a wildlife experience through our very popular Addo National Park in a comfortable and air-conditioned 7-seater vehicle, while enjoying views of large herds of elephants drinking at waterholes in the park. Open vehicle wildlife safaris can be enjoyed at Schotia and Sibuya Private Game Reserves, as well as a fantastic boat ride with great views from the Kariega River.

Itinerary

DAY 1: DEPART PORT ELIZABETH / EAST LONDON – ADDO NATIONAL PARK

Guests are collected from their requested collection point and welcomed by their guide who will accompany them for the duration of their tour. The tour begins with a 1 hour (Port Elizabeth) or 2.5 hour (East London) journey to the Addo National Park passing towns like King Williams Town and Grahamstown (From East London) and the town of Addo (From Port Elizabeth). Once the tour arrives at the Addo, guests have the opportunity to settle in at their accommodation and get ready for a trip through the National Park looking for the spectacular animals that reside in the park.

DAY 2: ADDO NATIONAL PARK – SCHOTIA SAFARIS

Guests enjoy an early drive into the Addo National Park as the gates open. During the drive in the Park, guests will enjoy a stop at a view point to enjoy morning tea & coffee with biscuits and Rusks. Then the tour returns to the Main Camp for a late breakfast. Guests check out and continue through the Addo National Park to Schotia Safaris, a private wildlife park where a fantastic afternoon and evening of safaris is enjoyed before dinner.

DAY 3: SCHOTIA SAFARIS – SIBUYA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE

Guests enjoy an early tea/coffee before departing on their morning safari with their ranger where guests can enjoy searching for the numerous animal species found on Schotia. Guests then have breakfast before checking out. Once guests have checked out they travel to the coastal town of Kenton-on-Sea where they will check in at the Sibuya reception. Guests then enjoy a boat cruise up the Kariega estuary to the tented accommodation where they will spend the night enjoying this luxury tented experience. Once the guests have arrived at their camp they will discuss with their ranger how they would like to enjoy the rest of the day on this fantastic private game reserve. Dinner is enjoyed at the main restaurant area.

DAY 4: SIBUYA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE – PORT ELIZABETH / EAST LONDON - DEPART

Guests enjoy the morning activity of choice and a fantastic breakfast before departing down the Kariega estuary to check out at the reception area. Guests then travel to East London or Port Elizabeth where they are dropped off at their desired destination.

Tour Accommodation

All the accommodation on this tour has been selected for its comfort and service. All the lodge accommodation is of the highest quality. All the accommodations on this tour are selected for its closeness to nature ensureing guests enjoy an ultimate safari experience.

Meals

All meals that are included in the itinerary are prepared by qualified chefs/guides. Please advise us of any special dietary requirements in advance to ensure that your meals are prepared correctly.

Transport.

The vehicle used to transport guests to the Lodges are Luxury vehicles either seating 6 passengers or 7 passengers including the driver.

What Do You Need?

An adventurous spirit and a love for nature & wildlife. It would be a good idea to bring along a rain jacket, camera, binoculars, any guide books, sunscreen, hat, warm jacket, personal toiletries, walking shoes and a holiday spirit.

Malaria

This tour takes place in a malaria free area of South Africa. We do advised to bring insect repellant during our summer months.

    Cancellation Policy

    If the reservation is cancelled by the client, cancellation fees will be due and payable according to the following:

    • 30 to 45 days prior to planned departure date, a refund of the amount paid in excess of the non-refundable deposit.
    • 21 to 30 days prior to the planned tour departure date, a refund of the amount paid in excess of the non-refundable deposit plus 25%
    • 20 days or less to the planned tour departure date, no refund.

    If the reservation is cancelled by the operator, who reserves the right to do so in its discretion, then the full amount paid, shall be refunded to the client
